Introduction: It is odd to expect something nicknamed the Beaver State to provide you with anything worthwhile, but Oregon proves that it has got a lot of spunk with its amazing drinking culture. Be it the local pubs, the countless drinking festivals or even the late-night parties, you are definitely amiss if you decide to pass up this state.

However, if you are nowhere near 21, your options tend to look bleak – that is, unless you have one of our incredible fake IDs in tow.

About: Oregon’s stint into drinking started just a few moments back. Before 1985, practically no one in the state could even tell you what a good beer tasted like. However, things soon changed and that made the booze start to flow again.

That’s why you can find Oregon’s drinking rates to be just down the middle. About 18.8% of the adult population drinks excessively, which is about as much as you would expect.

Oregon’s Drinking Culture: Since the rich Oregon drinking heritage stretches a few decades back, there wasn’t a lot of development in the scene. However, things are changing fast and cities like Portland have been building up their cocktail popularity.

These days, you can find a large number of amateur and professional mixologists in the state. It is slowly starting to become a great destination for getting your cocktails. If you want to indulge yourself in a great cocktail or two, you can get it here, shaken or stirred.

BENEFITS—OREGON ID, “PLACES WHERE IT SCANS?”

Oregon’s bar scene tends to be a bit newer than other places in the country. That’s why passing fakes should be done at only a couple of bars out here.

  1. Rialto Poolroom Bar & Café: A chill Oregon hangout where you can drink some beers and shoot some pool with some friends. ID card scrutiny isn’t a priority here.
  2. Beachcomber Pub in Florence: It is a great place if you want to enjoy no-nonsense drinks along with great company and exceptional seafood. Fakes tend to work really well here.

DISADVANTAGES—OREGON ID, “PLACES WHERE THEY SPOT FAKES?”

There are a ton of bars in Oregon that won’t pour you a drop until you can prove you are old enough with a shiny piece of plastic. Here are some of them:

  1. Arrivederci Wine and Jazz Bar: A good way to class up your night with amazing wine and smooth jazz. However, unless you have an ID on you, you can’t really get in here.

  2. Sapphire Hotel Bar: It is a new cocktail bar based in an old hotel lobby. It’s got a blend of both old and new and the only requirement is an ID to get you in.

Drinking Laws in Oregon: Oregon does not allow anyone under 21 to drink unless they are under parental supervision. If you use a fake ID, a business has the right to deny you service, seize the ID and even sue you to recover their losses.
