Our Commitment to Lawful Custom ID Products

At Topfakeid.com, we take the lawful use of customized ID products seriously. Our products are intended to be novelty items for legitimate purposes, including costumes, entertainment, photography, theater, creative projects, collecting, private displays, and other activities that are permitted by law.

We do not sell our custom products with the intention of helping anyone commit fraud, impersonate another person, misrepresent their age or identity, or obtain something they are not legally entitled to receive.

There is an important difference between a novelty product and genuine government identification. A driver’s license, state identification card, passport, or other government credential is issued by an authorized government agency and is intended to establish a person’s identity. Our customized novelty products are not government-issued credentials and have no legal identification value.

This distinction is particularly important under federal law. 18 U.S.C. § 1028 addresses various forms of fraud involving identification documents and specifically prohibits certain unauthorized production, transfer, possession, and use of identification documents and false identification documents. The statute also addresses documents that appear to be issued by a government authority.

For that reason, Topfakeid.com does not authorize customers to use a novelty product as genuine identification. A custom novelty ID should never be presented as an authentic driver’s license or state ID, used to verify age, enter an age-restricted establishment, purchase age-restricted products, travel, open a financial account, obtain employment, access government services, or establish identity or residency.

Federal law also contains specific protections against identity theft. 18 U.S.C. § 1028A provides additional criminal penalties for knowingly transferring, possessing, or using another person’s means of identification without lawful authority in connection with certain felony offenses.

Our approach is therefore straightforward. We provide customized products for lawful novelty and recreational purposes, and we expect customers to use them accordingly. We may refuse an order or customization request when we have reason to believe that the requested product is intended to support fraud, impersonation, deception, unlawful identification, or another prohibited activity.

Customers are also responsible for the material they submit for customization. This includes photographs, names, artwork, and other information. Customers should only provide material that they have the right to use and should never submit another person’s sensitive personal information for an unlawful purpose.

We recognize that identification laws can differ between states and that the rules applying to a particular product or use may depend on the circumstances. Federal law is only one part of the legal framework. State and local laws may impose additional restrictions, and those requirements can change over time.

Our policies are designed to keep our products clearly separated from genuine government credentials and to discourage unlawful use. We do not claim that a novelty product is approved, issued, endorsed, or recognized by any state or federal government agency.

Ultimately, our position is simple: customized IDs sold through Topfakeid.com are intended to remain novelty products and must only be used for purposes permitted by law. We do not encourage or authorize fraud, identity theft, impersonation, deception, or the misuse of government identification.
